Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tuido cloud sync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Tuido is a terminal-based task management application. The cloud sync service allows you to synchronize your encrypted data across multiple devices. The terminal application stores data locally on your device. Cloud sync is an optional feature that requires a Google account.

User Accounts

To use cloud sync, you must:

• Sign in with a valid Google account
• Set an encryption password for your data
• Authorize your devices through the web dashboard

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and encryption password.

Encryption & Your Responsibility

Your data is encrypted using a password you set. This is important to understand:

• We cannot recover your password. If you forget your encryption password, your synced data cannot be recovered. There is no password reset.
• We cannot decrypt your data. By design, only you can access your synced content.
• Keep your password safe. You are solely responsible for remembering your encryption password.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated means to access the service beyond normal usage

Intellectual Property

The Tuido application, website, and service are the property of their respective owners. Your content remains yours. We claim no ownership over the data you store using our service.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, including but not limited to loss caused by forgotten encryption passwords, service interruptions, or technical failures. Always keep local backups of important data.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the profile dialog in the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted. Local data on your devices is unaffected.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
